Asymmetrical reduction with a seal – what is it anyway?
It is a connector between ventilation pipes of different diameters, which allows for a smooth
transition from one pipe to another, smaller one.
Sounds like a regular reducer? However, there is a small difference – this one is asymmetrical, meaning it does not narrow
perfectly along the pipe axis, but only on one side.
Why this asymmetry?
Thanks to the fact that the narrowing is shifted to one side:
– the installation can be placed closer to the wall or ceiling,
– no additional bends are required,
– the whole system takes up less space,
– and the air continues to flow without any problems.
The perfect solution where space is limited or you need to “fit” under the ceiling, in a shaft, or above a suspended ceiling.
The narrower section is located on the side closest to the wall or ceiling, which allows for a more compact installation.
How does it work?
On one side, you have a pipe with a larger diameter (e.g., 200 mm),
and on the other, a smaller one (e.g., 160 mm).
The reducer connects them tightly thanks to an EPDM rubber gasket, which:
✅ seals the connection,
✅ prevents air leakage,
✅ eliminates noise and vibrations.
No need to glue or wrap anything with tape – just slide it in and you’re done.

What makes it stand out?
– Galvanized steel, but also available in: aluzinc, magnelis, aluminum, acid-resistant steel.
– Asymmetrical shape – saves space during installation.
– EPDM gasket – tightness and quiet operation.
– Fits SPIRO pipes and ventilation fittings – full compatibility.
