What is it?
Imagine you are installing ventilation pipes in your house. But suddenly – oh no! – there is a wall. What do you do? Make a hole to your neighbor’s house, or use an elbow joint.
A pressed elbow with a gasket is simply a bend in your ventilation system. It’s like a “pipe elbow” that allows air to flow in a different direction, e.g., at an angle of 45° or 90°.
Without elbows, everything would go straight as an arrow. But a house is not a corridor.
What should you know about it?
– It fits popular Spiro pipes (the ones from the previous post).
– Available in main diameters: 125, 160, 200, 250 mm – so you can match it to your installation.
– It has a rubber gasket – so installation is quick and tight.
– In your home, it will usually be made of galvanized steel – meaning it is durable and does not rust.
– Thanks to linear welding, it is tight and does not let air through the sides.

Why an elbow?
Good ventilation is not only about fresh air – it is also about quietness, energy savings, and no drafts. The pressed elbow with a seal ensures that the air in the system flows where it should – quietly and efficiently.
